Scoil San Treasa senior football team has qualified for the Cumann na mBunscol finals in Croke park for the second successive year. This year the team will challenge for the division 2 Corn an nGearltach cup. It is a huge occasion for the school to be involved in.

There have been 248 schools playing in Cumann na mBunscol senior competitions. We are one of the lucky 32 schools involved in this year’s finals. Croke park finals don’t happen too often for every school. We have to cherish this moment and enjoy the occasion when we have the chance to. On the way to the final the boys defeated St. Micheal’s, St. Pius’s, St. Joseph’s in the group stage. They then faced off against Scoil Assaim in the quarter-final before beating a strong Bayside team in the semi-final. Last year we were successful in Croke Park and captured the division 3 Corn Chumann na nGael cup. This year our games have been very competitive and in the final we will face a difficult challenge. We play Ballyroan BNS next Thursday (23rd of October) in Croke Park. The throw-in time is 2.40pm. Nothing beats being there! SST abú!
