The New Primary Curriculum – Parent Information

Exciting changes are taking place in primary education. Ireland's new Primary Curriculum Framework is being introduced gradually, bringing fresh opportunities for children to learn through exploration, creativity, problem-solving and real-life experiences.
At Scoil San Treasa, we are looking forward to embracing these changes. Our particular focus for the 2026/2027 school year is Social and Environmental Education (SEE), which brings together History and Geography. Through SEE, children will explore the world around them, discover more about the past, investigate people and places, and develop an appreciation of their local environment and wider world.
