Focal Ón gCaptaen

This is the second year that Mr. Walsh has coached the boy’s football team in Scoil San Treasa. Mr. Walsh has worked very hard with our team after school, training and teaching us some very important Gaelic football skills. This year I am honoured to lead this very strong and committed team as the captain. It will be a very proud moment leading this team out onto Croke Park. We have had a challenging series of games which took us to the final. We had victories against St. Attracta’s, Terenure College, St. Mochta’s and St. David’s BNS. Our only defeat has been to Divine Word school. We have learned from this defeat and it has driven us on as a team to become better players. We need to keep our composure on the day in Croke Park and we expect a tough and competitive match. I believe that if we play well on the day that hopefully we will be celebrating a great win. This year will be very special for me as last year I was unable to play because of a broken wrist. Scoil San Treasa Abú !
