The Feast of St Thérèse

The Feast of St Thérèse is on October 1st. We went to Mass and sang in the choir. We sang a special song for St. Thérèse called ‘The Little Flower’. St Thérèse loved nature and flowers and said that she would ‘let fall a shower of roses’ when she died. She saw herself as the ‘Little Flower of Jesus’. There was a basket of roses in the church and every class got a rose for their room.  We had some displays in our school for the feast of St Thérèse.
