On Thursday April 27th, the boys and girls in 6th Class received the Sacrament of Confirmation in the Church of St. Thérèse.

They have spent months preparing for this special day alongside their teachers, Mr. Maguire and Mr. Whitely. It is a very important and memorable day in their lives when they received the gifts of the Holy Spirit. A thank you must go to the SST Orchestra and the choir made of up 5th Class for their beautiful accompaniment and singing on the day. 

"We have been preparing for our Confirmation for a number of weeks. We had an Enrolment Ceremony and a Ceremony Of Light with Oatlands. There were lots of really interesting Confirmation names chosen! Each Confirmation candidate brought their sponsor to the altar and the Priest started to talk to them about their Confirmation name. All in all, it was a great day with lots of fun." - Joe, 6th Class.
