On Tuesday the 25th of March, Scoil San Treasa’s first ever girls soccer team competed in a 5-a-side competition. We had two teams that played on the day. One of the teams won their first match in the heat stage 4-0. The other team won 3 matches in the heats and got to the semifinals. They went through to the quarter finals in a spectacular penalty shootout. They won the penalty shootout in sudden death. They had a tough battle in the quarter final and won to book themselves a place in the semifinals. Both teams should be very proud of their performance on the day. They represented the school so well and showed exemplary moments of sportsmanship on the day.
