Our Senior boy’s football team qualified for the Division 2 Football Final in Croke Park Monday 20th October. It was a great occasion for our school community to travel to Croke Park and the sea of blue and white flags, the energy in the stands, and the shouts of encouragement as we cheered on our team made it a day to remember. Although Ballyroan BNS emerged victorious on the day, the skill and determination shown by SST players was nothing short of inspiring. The experience of playing in, and travelling to Croke Park - a place steeped in the history of Gaelic games - is something that the team and all of the supporters will remember for many years. We are very grateful to the teachers for coaching the teams and to the parents for their support in providing lifts to and from the games.
