Peter Crann came into 3^rd Class today to share his musical wisdom with us!

We talked about rhythm, making music anywhere (with anything!), and, why music makes us want to move.

We got to play on a variety of drums including bongos, the bodhrán, a cajón, cowbells, and the djembe. We got to make lots of noise and worked together to create a soundscape. Peter reminded us that it's never too late to pick up an instrument and start playing. He didn't begin drumming until he was 28! Now Peter is part of 2 bands, one influenced by Jazz and the other by Irish Folk. Peter plays all around Ireland and inspired us to make some music!
