On Tuesday 9th June Scoil San Treasa won the Division 1 Herald Cup for the first time in their history . The played St. Mary’s BNS , Lucan in Croke Park.

Scoil San Treasa got off to a great start with two early goals and after ten minutes lead by 2-3 to 0-2. However Lucan replied strongly and at half time the score read Scoil San Treasa 2-4 Lucan 0-9. The scorers for Scoil San Treasa being Rory 1-0, Michael 1-0 and Dara 0-4.

SST got off to a great start in the second half with two early points by Dara and Sam to stretch their lead to three points . However Lucan responded with a goal of their own straight away . SST pushed two points clear again with points from Dara and Mark. However another Lucan goal put them ahead for the first time in the match .

From here to the finish both sides took the lead on different occasions . SST scores coming from Dara and Michael. However when the long whistle sounded it was Scoil San Treasa who were ahead by 2 points.Final score SST 2-14 Lucan BNS 2-12. It was celebration time for a team that put in a massive amount of work over the past years.
