Grandparents, parents and pupils enjoyed getting together on Grandparents’ Day.

The celebration of Grandparents’ Mass (for children in third class and their grandparents) has become the highlight of Catholic Schools Week in Scoil San Treasa. It affords children in third class an opportunity to celebrate the gift that grandparents are to their grandchildren – to pray for them, to give thanks for them and to ask God’s blessing on them.  It is also an opportunity to think in a special way of all grandparents – near and far, young and not so young, and those who are no longer with us.
