Sports
In Scoil San Treasa we are a very active school. Our school has a very comprehensive PE (Physical Education) Programme.
We incorporate the strands of the Primary Curriculum – Games, Dance, Gymnastics, Athletics, and Outdoor and Adventure. The curriculum contributes to children’s overall development by helping them to lead full, active and healthy lives.
The school is very fortunate to have coaches providing the PE Curriculum alongside the teachers here in Scoil San Treasa.
There are school teams in Hurling, Camogie, Football & Ladies Football, training weekly and competing in matches. Additionally, the Parents' Association organise the Hockey for 4th, 5th and 6th Class girls, and 6th class Tennis leagues.
