Keeping Childhood Smartphone Free

Keeping Childhood Smartphone Free

Last year the Parents Association of Scoil San Treasa engaged in a consultation process with all partners in the school community, for the introduction of a 'No Smartphone Code' which yielded support from parents representing 82% of the children in the school. 

This year, the PA ask that you/your family to formally sign up to the very flexible, completely voluntary and anonymous Code - at the following link: https://forms.gle/CzbTZzHqYw2WPnYN9 - live until 3pm Friday 20th September. 

We would encourage all families to sign-up and together as a school community, we can support the nationwide initiatives to ensure that young people's access to the internet/social media is better-regulated.

The Parents Association are following guidelines as detailed in the Department of Education document Keeping Childhood Smartphone Free
