On Friday the 24th of January, the Dublin Fire Brigade came to our school. They came in their fire engine, and told 3rd class all about fire safety. They told us how fires start, ways to prevent fire and what to do if we ever find ourselves in that situation. They told us never ever to make prank calls to the fire brigade, and to remind our parents to always have a fire alarm that is working properly. One of the firemen was wearing the full fire protective gear. It was very interesting to see. Afterwards, they gave us a fire safety pack that had colouring sheets, word searches lots of other things. It was really fun!
