As an Easter art lesson, Rang a Cúig decided to make easter egg nets as gifts this week. 

To begin with we needed to blow up balloons that were about the size of easter eggs. (We even had a mini lesson on electricity). 

Next step was to choose a colour of yarn and cut a 9 metre piece each.

In a bowl we mixed PVA glue and water, then soaked the yarn in the mixture.

We then wrapped the balloon with the yarn, hanging it to dry.

Finally, we popped the balloons and squeezed some little chocolate eggs into the net.
