In recent weeks, pupils in third class (both classes) took part in three Science Workshops based on Energy. They were learning about renewable and non-renewable sources of energy. They worked together to make solar ovens from recycled materials. They hope that ultimately those solar ovens will generate enough heat to melt chocolate. More elaborate versions of these solar ovens could actually be used for cooking.
