Science Week

This week was Science Week, with the focus of 2019 being climate action. There was a lot happening in the areas of science and STEM in Scoil San Treasa. Ms Nic Fheorais & Ms Fox’s second classes were busy creating circuits that demonstrated how electricity is turned on and off with a switch. The children then worked through a number of different tasks to build circuits for a variety of objects such as a fan and a speaker. We also discussed ways in which we can reduce our use of electricity and water, and how important it is for our environment.
