Fifth class are enjoying their novel 'Kensuke's Kingdom' by Michael Morpurgo. Before reading, we discussed the cover of the book at length (sometimes it's worthwhile to judge a book by it's cover!). We had lots of thoughts and questions about the story following observation. Now that we are halfway through we're eager to find out what happens to the main character 'Michael'.

After exploring the cover in detail, we decided to use it as inspiration for our next Art Lesson as well. Using felt, A3 paper and lots of glue we got to work!
