On Friday, 4th Class went to Leinster House. First, at around 10 o'clock, we left the school and went to the bus stop. Once the bus arrived, we got on it and it took us to the city centre. When we got off it, we walked to Leinster House.

Our tour guide took us to the Dáil first. We went to the gallery, which is a place where visitors can view the Dáil. We went there and she showed us all the places where politicians sit and make decisions.

After that, we went into a room where we saw portraits of the past Taoisigh. Next, we went to the Seanad, which is a really nice room with a beautiful roof and a chandelier. Next, we went into a room that had the 1916 Constitution on the wall.

Next, we walked to St. Stephen’s Green. When we were walking to St. Stephen’s Green, we walked past the Shelbourne Hotel and saw some Irish rugby players. When we got there, we went to a playground to have lunch.

Finally, we walked back to the bus stop and got the bus home. It was a fantastic day.
