Our Senior Infants have been on an exciting journey through space! The children have shown fantastic enthusiasm, bringing in space books from home to share and discuss with their classmates. We learned all about Neil Armstrong and completed lovely pieces of writing to go along with our learning. The classroom has been full of creativity too - from beautiful space-themed artwork to rockets created using paint and small sponges to make starry skies. We also enjoyed colouring the planets and rockets while learning their names. It has been a wonderful topic that sparked curiosity, imagination and a real love of learning about space!
