Over the last four months there has been a family of robins nesting in our garden. They made a nest in an old toy train that has been sitting on a shelf in one of our sheds for as long as I can remember. Ten days later, four eggs appeared in it! After another week or two, there were three chicks making noise all morning. Before the chicks even left their nest, the adults had begun building a second nest in our OTHER shed. Another week or so, and four more eggs arrived! Soon after, the chicks were flying out and exploring the world. They stuck around for a while to continue being fed by their parents. Soon they will leave and fend for themselves.
