We were delighted to celebrate Seachtain na Gaeilge in our school! This special week was all about having fun while using and enjoying the Irish language.

Throughout the week, our pupils took part in a variety of activities such as games, music, storytelling, art, and quizzes – all through Irish. It was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to practise their Irish in a relaxed and enjoyable way.

Our Coiste Gaeilge did a fantastic job at pulling everything together and encouraging other children to use as much Irish as they could, both in school and at home. Even a simple “Dia duit” or “Go raibh maith agat” made a big difference!

We worked together to celebrate our language and culture – we really enjoyed Seachtain na Gaeilge!
