To celebrate Science Week in Scoil San Treasa, the pupils of 5th and 6th class held a Science Fair in the school hall. From electric circuits to improvised helicopters, there was plenty of scientific skills on show. The younger pupils in the school had a wonderful time visiting the fair and learning about science from their older peers. There were many experiments happening all around the school and in every classroom, with something different every day - Junior Infants predicted and investigated which items would roll when force is applied, 2nd class designed and made a boat to test floating and sinking while 3rd class designed and made an egg protector. We had a very busy but exciting week!
