Our pupils in third class celebrated Grandparents' Day here in Scoil San Treasa on Thursday 31st January.  We took time to think of and give thanks for all grandparents - those who came to school that afternoon and those who could not join us on the day.  The boys and girls had put much effort into preparing an attractive display of their artwork.  The short prayer service (complete with beautiful singing!) gave children and adults an opportunity to bring to mind our special memories; the light refreshments afterwards (provided by the Parents' Association...thank you!) gave people a chance to relax and chat at the end of the school day.  Thank you to all who made this day possible!
