Lá na gCrann – National Tree Day- 8th October

National Tree Day was on Thursday  October 8th. Rang 1 went on a nature walk to our local Park – Deerpark.

We spotted a grey squirrel – he was running through the grass looking for some food.

We collected some horse chestnuts and we gathered lots of Autumn leaves.

We brought the leaves back to our classroom and painted some Autumn pictures. We used Autumn colours – rust, brown and orange.
