Scoil San Treasa has been awarded our 7th Green Flag! For the past two years the Green Team have been gathering data and making changes around the school in order to reduce our Energy consumption. We made sure lights, interactive whiteboards and HEPA filters were off when not in use, monitored our energy bills and conducted surveys to see how all classes were getting on. Not only did we reduce the amount of electricity being used in the school but we also researched how our consumption affects the global community. This was all part of the Global Citizenship - Energy Flag! We are very proud of our school community and can't wait to see what small steps we can take to make a change next year
