Baineadh an-taitneamh as Seachtain na Gaeilge. Over 90 children, and teachers shared their musical talents in the Ceol sa Foyer during Seachtain na Gaeilge. Our Tráth na gCeist Ollmhór for the pupils from 4th – 6th class was a great success and a good way of putting the cúpla focal to use. The pupils are to be commended for all their good work in learning and practising their dances for the Céilí. All of the pupils are enjoying ‘Crannchur na Gaeilge’ – an occasional raffle for pupils who have been noted to make a special effort to use Irish informally in the course of the school day. Although Seachtain na Gaeilge has passed, we continue to encourage all to use their Gaeilge when thart timpeall na scoile.
