Both First Classes have been hard at work creating posters for the 2024 Someone Like Me art competition. The aim of the competition is to raise disability awareness in primary school students and help them to understand the importance of inclusion, support and kindness. The children have been discussing different abilities we all have, and learning that even though each one of us is different, we all have a lot in common. We have been talking about ways that we can show kindness and respect to one another, and how to make sure that we are inclusive of everyone. The children have worked together to design and create their posters, highlighting that there is a place for everyone in our beautiful and diverse world. All of the students are very proud of their work and are so excited to send their posters into the competition this week!
