Body

We have recently purchased a set of Bee-Bots for our school.  Using these small programmable robots, the children are introduced to creating simple programs and they learn the importance of sequences of accurate instructions.  Initially, we plan on rolling out this work with senior infants.

The Bee-Bots can be programmed to move backwards, forwards, left and right with up to 40 moves in a sequence.  They can be integrated with a variety of activities across the primary school curriculum, including activities in the area of numeracy and literacy.

We hope our boys and girls in senior infants enjoy this new dimension to their learning.
